• Fire resistance time may vary depending on project requirements (30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes).

• It provides the durability of the automatic closing system. That is to say, the ability to maintain backlash, force, and speed of opening and closing. It does not exhibit faults after a considerable amount of opening/closing cycles.

Use of fire doors

The use of fire doors is not restricted to large buildings and public buildings. You can use the fire door in private homes and any building. Because fire prevention measures are crucial to keep people safe.

Fire doors are installed in theaters, cinemas, educational centers, shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, offices, industries, etc.

When are the fire doors required?

When you’re building or renovating your residence, the architect will guide you when and where you need it. Let see scenarios that help you understand when you should install a fire door.

If you have a two-story building that connects with a garage, then you should install a fire door in your building. Install it in a way that combines a garage with your home.

Your local building code might also have a fire door. If you have three stories or more, install a fire door around the staircase and on the 3rd floor. You can install it on each floor if you’ve a budget.

No one can stop you from installing an internal fire door wherever you want. There’s a lot of design in the FD30 door. So you can choose according to the theme of your home.

If you want to replace your existing door with a fire door, you must also have a budget for door frames. Because the fire door cannot install those frames, notably, don’t install the fire door on the area where they’re not needed.
